2. What Personal Data We Collect

When you enquire about or book a course, we may collect your name, email address, phone number and postal address, your salon or business name and social media handle, your experience level and course preferences, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details). We also collect standard website analytics data to improve our site.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to process your course booking and payment, send you booking confirmations and course details, respond to your enquiries, provide post-course support, and comply with our legal obligations. We will only send you marketing communications if you have given us your consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under UK GDPR on the basis of contract (to fulfil your booking), legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries and improve our services), consent (for marketing), and legal obligation where required by law.

5. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with Stripe to process payments, email service providers to send booking confirmations, and legal authorities where required by law.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain booking records for up to 6 years to comply with UK tax and accounting obligations. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent. We will delete your data sooner if you request it and there is no legal reason to retain it.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.

8. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to function correctly. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Significant changes will be communicated to you directly where appropriate.
